I'm leaning towards the brown. Might just be that angle of the photograph, but the rosettes look bigger. However I'm quite biased because it looks so much like my own fur baby when he was that age .
Do you have a chance to meet them? I say this because my favourite kitten based on the breeder's photos was not the one I ended up picking when I got to see their personalities. Visit both and let the kitten pick you!

Based on the photos I'm definitely drawn to the silver. The tight, enclosed rosettes are indeed a bit different - it gets a bit boring only seeing brown kittens with big rosettes!

Definitely go and meet them if at all possible. I was dead set on getting a brown rosetted until I went to the breeder and fell in love with a little snow. I ended up getting a brown as well in the end so they both had a playmate, so best of both worlds, but Spider's personality completely won me over!

I would choose a silver over a brown, and a snow over a silver. I know that is not what is most valuable but that is what catches my eye, and I will be the one looking at the cat every day. Personality is important but you don't get to really know that until the cat is home with you and over the initial fears that go with re homing. Plus the cat's personality will change based on how you interact and treat him or her. Seeing them in person will help you decide, but the coats change as they mature.

Now, who chooses a cat by the color? The personality is what is most important! You can get the most gorgeous cat, but if it's skittish and aloof, what's the point? Try to visit the breeder and interact with the kittens. One may accept you as its owner and it may not be the prettiest of the bunch. I do know some people prefer silver to brown rosetted bengals -- it's just a preference. There's no right answer. But, I am always going to go with the most socialized, sweetest kitty regardless.

Color shmuller. I'm with Sherry. Color would always be 3rd most important to me after health and personality. Chances are that one or the other will make a greater impression in person. Either because they seem more active or more put together physically, or because one or the other seem to have a better initial connection with you.

If I didn't have the chance to meet them, because of proximity, then I'd pick the silver. I've never liked the huge open-rosetted look, plus silvers seem to be more exotic to me because of their relative scarceness, but that's just me. Plus with the black and silver coloring I could pretend he was a member of my favorite football team the Oakland Raiders

I can see both points from both sides – colour vs personality.

I am sorry if I at all sounded like a person who focuses mainly on the colour, having the perfect markings, a beautiful cat and nothing else.

Of course personality is most important to me!

I am leaning towards the silver girl. I love, love love brown rosette bengals, I think they are stunning.. BUT… the breeder of the Silver kitten is incredible. They are so caring, so genuine and helpful. They care about all of their babies and put a lot of love and effort into raising healthy, well socialized kittens. The silver girl I am looking at is a big sook – she is very affectionate, loves cuddles, attention and climbing onto laps for naps. The breeder said they don’t pick favourites, but she really is a special girl.

They are putting her on hold for me until tonight so I have some time to think about it and decide if I want to put a deposit down. I really do like her, she is a little sweetie.

The brown rosetted Bengal is very cute but I am unable to visit the breeder, plus she is very expensive compared to the silver. I know bengals are expensive cats, but I don’t have any extra money lying around at the moment and I think I will be happy with my choice of the silver girl.

If all goes well, I can bring her home in 4 weeks when she is 12 weeks old :)

Sorry for derailing your thread slightly :) Sounds like your decision is a no brainer really.

When members come here and ask questions, they are going to get a multitude of answers. Nobody's answer is 100% correct when you're looking for opinions. We all have one. Yes, for me, personality is the #1 thing. Ironically, I see ALL cats as being absolutely gorgeous! Doesn't matter the breed or color. I look past all of that and just want a sweet kitty! I never would have chosen Raiden because he's not snuggly or a lap cat and it's the one thing I'm not happy about, but his owner wanted to get rid of him and had no other takers and Raiden was already hanging around my house and we became friends. Raiden makes up for it by having the sweetest disposition of any cat I've ever had. I know Lalune will pick the perfect cat for the family.
