My last cat would only eat Fancy Feast grilled chicken or turkey with cheese. I know it was bad food to give her but she refused every other kind I brought home to her and she only weighed 5 pounds as a senior. She shed quite a bit but she had kidney disease. I vowed to never let my cats taste food that is not a healthy quality food so they will never know what they are missing. So far they are doing fine eating a premium cat food and they hardly shed, but they are under 2 years old. They do like to be brushed and come to me often for a light brushing so that helps I'm sure.

Just like a proper diet is great for human skin, it's the same with cats. A great diet will result in a beautiful coat.

Thanks for the info. I deffinayely went with top premium cat food. Btw the ferminator tool works wonders, he literally falls asleep when I comb him. And I got it at less than half the price on eBay.

I need to check the Ferminator out! Raiden's pelt is so short, you can't use a wire comb on him. I have something with rubber on the other end and I can use that and collect some of the hair. So cute that Tiger will fall asleep while you're combing him.
