Do your bengals meow before/during using litter box?

This is quite amusing to me.

My little 5 month old guy will walk around the apartment for a minute or so, meowing, as if he is letting everyone know he is going to the bathroom.

He then sits in the litter box and continues to meow.

Do any of your bengals do this? :)

He does not meow if he is going to pee but when he needs to poop he has the zoomies for about two minutes beforehand, then meows his head off during the process! :lol:

LOL I have not noticed that with my two, but they both wait until I clean the box before they jump in and go! Then I have to clean it again. I feel like I am always scooping!

My two both do this. I assume they are warning me I have some cleaning to do shortly!

Raiden doesn't cry when using the litter box, but he does get the zoomies before he goes poo in the box. He doesn't dig when peeing. He just walks in the box and squats. He digs a hole to China if he's going to poo and then he never actually poos in the hole he dug!

My girl is quiet and discreet my boy tells the whole world before, during and sometimes has a few meows after but only when pooping not peeing. They both dig as if searching for gold!!

I know, what's with that digging?! It is so annoying. Blondie just won't give it up and they poke holes in the liner.

I cannot use liners - they just shred them though the litter and I end up in a right mess. Resulted to a very large hooded corner tray which is emptied and cleaned each evening - then throughout the day the 'dirt' is removed when I am told to do so (by the cats of course! Yes they are very vocal and leave no doubt when there is a deposit that needs removing - I know my place LOL!!)

I have an open litter box and use a 13 qt white trash bag to line it (it's folded in half). I keep enough litter in there that Raiden doesn't reach the liner, although he really tries. They say bengals are the worst when it comes to digging a deep hole! But at least that way I can hear him and know what he's about to do. Thankfully, his soft stools have hardened up with the probiotic.

Yep, I just finished cleaning it out and they both jumped in and i can tell from the smell they have used it. Here I go again!

That's something else about cats. They seem to know precisely when you've dumped out all the litter and it's spotlessly clean! And then they go and dirty it all up for you!
