I know this probably gets asked a lot. Does she look Bengal, mixed Bengal, or domestic shorthair? Thanks!!

Her face resembles a bengal. Her tail is ringed like a bengal. One of the pictures suggests rosetting. However, there are spotted tabbies as well. Every bengal has tabby in them. Both of your kitties are beautiful. Enjoy them!!!

Thank you for responses!!! I understand the whole tabby stuff. I was asking because the research on her appearance and personality all check out although I'm not sure if she's rosette (which I hear they have to be that or marbled to be Bengal?) Her ears are more rounded than my domestic shorthair, hair eyes are rounded while his are more almond, and she's craaaaazy!!! Lol!! She's the sweetest but wow she's got energy, nothing like the shorthair. Her spots seem to have a brown background to them over a silver/grey coat. Her nose seems to be reddish pink with darker edges. She has the eyeliner, I think. Her tail seems pretty long. Not sure about her back legs but they do appear to be longer, but I think cats always appear to have longer back legs as I'm not sure I've ever seen a cat with equal length legs? Let me know thoughts!

Actually, I think the breed that she most resembles is probably Egyptian Mau, although yea, your cat is probably many generations removed from any pure bred animal.

Oh my goodness I just put her up on a window sill in the sunshine to see if she has glitter and shine and she does!!!! Does that mean for 100% fact she is Bengal since no other breed has that trait? That's what I'm reading anyways. I got a video of it if anyone knows a faster way to upload besides YouTube

Ok so, thanks to the person who suggested she's a Mau. I did some heavy research and everything checks out with that. My only question is, do they have glitter coats as well? I was reading that bengals are the only cats to have the glitter. Either way I'm happy and exited by either breed. Thanks everyone!!

The glitter gene in the bengal came from an Egyptian Mau kitty! Glitter is difficult to detect in pictures or video! But when you see it, it shimmers like gold. Without any documentation, it's impossible to know if your cat has any bengal or Egyptian Mau in her. Beautiful kitty regardless.

You have a lovely tabby cat, there - but not a bengal. I used to have a tom cat that looked very similar. I'm partial to tabbies to this day because of that boy. As others have said, all bengals have some tabby blood in them.

Cats have been around for centuries, so most cats have a variety of breeds in them. Purebred cats come with registration papers. I had a gigantic stray once that I swore was a Maine Coon. In fact, I found a twin of him on a Maine Coon website, but the vet told me he was just a medium-haired domestic cat and crushed my hopes -- but then I realized the vet was right. I'd just gotten my hopes up to high and couldn't see it.
