Hi all, new to the forum. I'm getting my two new family members in a few days time and have been reading lots. I've read that rib stripes is not desirable and was wondering if my cat has them? I dont actually 'care' either way as I think they are gorgeous kittens and have no interest in showing them. But I am curious.

What do you think?

I don't see where ribbed sides are a bad thing -- I see that in a lot of bengals and even Raiden's grandfather -- Gogees Warpaint, a Supreme Grand Champion has them, so I'm not sure it takes points off in a cat show. Regardless, you have gorgeous kittens arriving. The contrast is amazing and will get even more so as they grow.

I was curious about this as well, and when I did a google search to see what some winning show bengals looked like, most of them had rib bars. I think it's not desirable because the ALC doesn't have them, but breeders are having a tough time getting rid of them.

Also, I saw your pics in the gallery and didn't even notice the stripes until you pointed them out, no big deal.

Glad you got to take both!! They are gorgeous and the girl has this sweet innocent looking face like my Phaedra has!!! Aww they grow so fast! Phaedra still has the innocent look..but she is a handful!!
