What is it with Bengals and knocking over glasses - or anything really? I swear my two do it to see what happens when things smash to the floor! If they break, all the better and like yours try to jump into the wreckage lol

I had a similar evening last week. I decided an early night would be lovely as it had been a busy weekend. I get up to start closing the shutters and blinds. The shutter came off its attachment to the top rail it runs along. I suspect one of the boys has jumped on the top of it or crashed into it during a mad moment... I start trying to fix it, with Hendrix very interested in what is going on and basically being a complete hindrance.... when I hear a crash from the other room. I go back to where I had left Jagger sleeping on the footstool. He had woken up and decided to knock my glass off the side table and then started knocking everything else off as well as disappointingly for him nothing had actually smashed.

I put the light on to sort out the mess and pick everything up, forgetting I hadn't closed the blinds yet, and a massive moth started bashing against the window. Both boys are then trying to climb through the said blinds to try to catch the huge moth. I manage to pull up the blind before they break it or kill themselves, sort out the mess and turn the light off as quickly as possible before going back to the shutter and spend another fruitless hour trying to fix it but really needing another pair of hands.

So much for an early night lol

Raiden's previous owner told me he loved to knock over glasses, but he's only done it once and that's because he rubbed up against it when wanting treats. You had "one of those days." Club soda is supposed to help remove the wine stain from the carpet. I know people prefer the nice stemmed wine glasses, but it sounds like you need a mug with a cover that is spillproof. Not sure what to say about the peeing on the carpet! Something surely got into Babbage! Your babies are super adorable and I know you couldn't stay mad at them for long.

Hope you had a nice relaxing bath at some point! You couldn't have a worse day than that again, could you? LOL

Good thing they are super cute! It's hard to get mad when they are adorable being naughty. I think salt also helps get red wine out of carpets.

I've had those days. I just go to bed and hope tomorrow is better lol.

Diesel LOVES to knock over cups/glasses, it stated with stealing straws so we made sure we never left a cup with one in it, so it turned into sticking his paw into the cups, sometimes this meant sticking his whole leg in which led to knocking them over. Well it was like :idea:

HEY I can just knock them over!

Ironically our moggie that used to always knock over cups and bowls has been leaving them alone since we got Diesel.

Cats perspective: It is easier to fish the straw out when the glass is on its side. An upright glass is an excellent paw washer, especially after using the litter box.

Raiden isn't interested in straws and I always have one in my glass. Maybe that's why he doesn't knock the glass over! LOL

and not a pesky Bengal in sight! The outlaws are looking after his lordship (Oscar) so I have a week off from being a Bengal butler! :rolleyes:

Melissa -- how wonderful you are on vacation -- are you on vacation from the real kiddies, too? I'm sure Cranberry would love to join you in the south of France. Amazing at how many naughty bengals there really are. I enjoy the bengal Facebook page where people post "Free to a good home...." then go on about the cat and then say "just kidding." There are many times i just want to get away from Raiden who cries and cries and cries until he gets to go out on his daily walks.
