Interested to know if generally you find the boys being bigger and heavier than the girls? I have only had one girl (Meili) she is quite petite in her build, small in body length with shorter legs rounder face and weighs just under 5kg, yet both my boys have been bigger and heavier. Harley was long bodied and legged and until his illness was quite muscular weighing around 6kg at his heaviest. Chester is bigger still, long bodied, long legged and very muscular his weight at 15 months is 7kg (he is not overweight the vet is more than happy with him he is just a big lad!)
Do you generally find that the boys are bigger both in shape and weight? These are the only 3 Bengals I have had the pleasure of owning although I have had other cats (moggies who have all been varied but not typically bigger if boys). I will be taking on another male mid August (from same breeder as my late Harley) and I am advised he is already quite a big boy and was the largest in his litter of 4.

I have two "adult" sisters. One goes between 13 and 13.5 pounds and has a big head, arms and feet with a long body. Her sister has a very small dainty look and goes between 10-11 pounds. They are however mixed breed cats.

Generally speaking, males are heavier and larger than females, but there can be some heavyweight kitties. As long as your vet feels they are at a proper weight for their age, then things should be fine. They looked fine in the pictures you posted.

At the age of 15 months, Babbage is 4.9 Kgs ( 10.8 lb ) and Ada 4.7 (10.3lb ). but she should* be about 4.4 Kgs ( 9.7lb ) - all in all they are both on the small size for bengals.

This has been interesting. I knew Sam was small but she is an utter shrimp.

She is 7 and weighs in about 6 pounds (maybe less), very squirmy, does not like to be picked up, and wasn't really happy about the kitchen scale and bowl thing but she barely registers on the bathroom scale in my arms or being placed on it. She is very fine boned, keeps a very trim figure (has kibble feeder 24-7, gets a wet breakfast, sees her vet and wormed regularly), and gets as much exercise as she wants (my garden & yard have many fewer gophers)

She is the smallest cat I have ever had. It is like having a grown up kitten, right down to kitten sharp claws.

Well, just like some people are small, I guess Sam is petite and small! As long as she's eating, she's fine.

I think as long as your kitten/cat is healthy and not under or over weight size and weight is not really an issue, I was curious more than anything to see if the males followed a trend of being larger in this breed but size or shape regardless we love them all!!

Males Cat are heavier and larger than females cat . I also think your cat is healthy and not under or over weight size and weight is not really an issue.

I weighed my two boys last night, and they were both 5.8kg (nearly 13 lbs). They've been this weight for the last year or so and are two years old today. It did surprise me they were the same as Jagger just feels so much heavier than Hendrix but I'm putting it down to him being more compact whereas Hendrix is quite lanky so his weight is more spread out lol

It's about time I weigh Raiden again. He fluctuates from about 12.4 pounds in the summer to about 13 pounds in the winter. He's less active and gets a nice winter coat.
