We got our little Mufasa off gumtree an unwanted kitten. But looking at him now he is 7months old and after speaking to some friends I started to wonder. Not that it really matters either way. We love him. He is not a loud meowing cat unless its feeding time. But he makes lots of chattering noises and squeaks when he sees us. He also runs up to greet us when we get home. Very UN cat like! He's very active, can play for hours and loves to sit on top of the fridge!

Can you post us some pictures for review?

What you've described is typical of a 7 month old kitten. If you post a picture, we can give you an opinion, but nobody is going to be able to tell for certain. The bengal breed started with an Asian Leopard Cat and domestic tabby, so all bengals have tabby in them, but not all tabbies are bengals.

That's not un-cat-like at all in my experience. 4 out of the 5 cats that I've owned as an adult have done that, including all three of the ones I currently have. When I come home from work now, all 3 come and greet me. And two of them protest very loudly when I leave in the morning.

Every cat that has lived with me greeted me at the door. That's what cats do. You are their whole world.

Oh gee, Raiden doesn't greet us at the door anymore. He used to run to greet me when I worked. But now I usually find him laying on the bed having just woken up from a nap.

I guess it's the garage door that tips them off. I look around to the front door and they are pressed against the windows along side the front door. They have thick swirly hurricane glass so everything is distorted, but I can see Grace recognizes me when I wave my arms at her. When I enter the laundry room there is an alarm alert so that further tips them off. By then Blondie has both her arms under the laundry room door and is waving frantically.

Aww, Jill, that is super sweet! Raiden can also hear the garage door, but it usually doesn't do anything. When we first come back in, Raiden insists on a belly rub! He's super adorable and you can't help but stop and oblige him. He just loves them.
