Great to hear that they are getting on so well. I too was concerned when I got Ada and Babbage about the play being rough and him establishing dominance, as Jill says, a good indication is noise - if there are growls/hisses/cries of pain then play is getting a bit rough.
Mine bounce around off furniture and walls, knock each other over, act out roles of prey and hunter, try to pull each other's ears off and generally cause chaos, but in the middle will stop and groom each other before starting up again - people not used to them think that they are fighting, but the lack of noise and mutual grooming show that it is all good fun.
