Excellent information, Elaine. I've saved the PDF to my computer for future reference. Thanks so much.

Really really sorry to say that it all advanced very quickly, and while we changed our tickets to go home early, cat sitter took him to vet this afternoon when she saw how poorly he had become and it became clear that it was for the best to have him put down.

We are all pretty devastated. You probably all know this already, but be sure to take loads of videos and piccies. We have a fair few but not enough. Kids in pieces. And we're all gutted we didn't get a chance to say cheerio.

I know the nature of this post has changed from we've possibly made a mistake to this, but sincere thanks to all of you for your responses. Still going home early as we need to see and care for remaining kitten.

I'm so very sorry you and your family are going through this. I know how devastating it is having gone through it myself.

*hugs* to all of you

Jeb, I don't know what to say. There are no words of comfort at a time like this. I'm hoping that the way you see your kitties has changed since your original post. I pray life with your remaining little one will be better than you had hoped. So very tragic and you have my deepest sympathy.

{{{HUGS}}} to you and your family.

Bengals are usually very social and want to be in the same room as their humans. They demand attention. I do not know how well your breeder socialized them.
