It must be so nice to be able to allow the kitties to be outdoors like that. I'm a member of a bengal Facebook page and am amazed at how well trained some of them seem to be with the outdoors. There is no way I could allow Raiden to roam free again. He would be blocks away trying to find another cat to fight with. Clare, yours are so brave to be up on the roof like that.

When I first researched the bengal breed, I honestly thought the marbles were not very pretty at all. Now, I think they are stunning cats. I guess I had to go through Raiden's entire pedigree and see that the has a lot of marbles in his background .....

I agree i used to think the same but boy have i changed on that.The transformation from kitten to adult is mind blowing.They really are gorgeous.

Thank you, I think they are gorgeous but I am of course biased! They have such lovely temperaments too, not a bad bone in either of them.

It is amazing how much they change in the first year, so take plenty of pics of your little guy!

Jagger was enjoying the cat mint this weekend! In fact, it's his favourite spot in the garden at the moment and I caught him asleep by it yesterday as well.

So here he is getting his daily fix lol

So cute, Clare! I keep forgetting to take pictures of Raiden! I already have a lot. The other day he was laying on the front steps and grabbed a few shots that I have yet to upload to my computer. Jagger is so handsome!

Gorgeous boy!! My mum's cat Timmy has a catmint 'Habit' too! He rolls around in it in absolute heaven. Will have to plant some. Think Oscar is missing out :sad:

I definitely don't want to attract any more cats with catmint! Raiden seems to leave the chocolate mint in my hubby's garden alone! Probably not very good for kitties.

Yes, he looks like butter wouldn't melt in that photo, in fact he was totally off his face and you couldn't go near him. Hendrix tried to enjoy some cat mint last night and there was a bit of hand bags going on out there - they almost looked like two kangaroos having a boxing match lol Will have to plant some more in another pot so they each have their own!

I have heard it all now! Two snuggle beds for the boys and now you are going to plant two pots of catmint so they each have their own pot of recreational cat drugs! :lol:

Is catmint the same thing as catnip?

They are of the same genus but are different plants. Catnip tends to get more of a reaction from cats, in theory. However, many cats react to neither plant. Quasar acts no differently when smelling catnip than he does normally.

War of the Cat Mint. It looks a bit worse for wear now so I'm hoping they leave it alone for a couple of days. They weren't interested in it at all last year, but they are obsessed at the moment lol
