Thank you all. We agree regarding his face lol. However, I'm interested to hear how everyone sees his pattern/colors turning out? I've heard from some people that charcoals don't rosette, (which is fine with us, although preferred) and others stating that they do. And also regarding his potential contrast. My estimation leads me to believe he's a charcoal silver and will have a good bit of contrast. What do you all think?

I have seen a picture of a charcoal with rosettes. unless it was a very dark silver but the image did say charcoal. maybe the arent very common. I think he is going to have a nice contast looking at the colours underneath the fuzz already

Charcoals have rosettes. If you simply google "Charcoal bengals," you will find photographs galore of charcoals. Many have high contrast coats. There are some darker charcoals, too. I think your little guy will have some contrast. Just know that charcoal characteristics do change over time. They may get lighter, darker, things like that.

Thank you, that's what I thought too. Yeah, we're aware that it's a toss up regarding his final coloring considering all the possibilities due to the inevitable changes he'll go through. But it's just plain interesting and fun to try and forecast the end result. Thank you for your responses.

We're leaning towards Vader, although it's not set in stone. She's not old enough to pick one out herself yet.

Vader is definitely a different name. You may change your mind once you get him home and it doesn't seem to fit his personality. I tend to wait a couple of days and observe the kitty and something usually pops into my head! Although, I've never been good at naming cats. I've had two named Kitty! LOL. Raiden got his name from his original owner and I just kept it going! He's definitely a Raiden type!

Well considering all of us are big star wars fans and he's black it just makes sense. And considering how cute he is it's humorously ironic. Your cats mortal kombat name is pretty cool too. Yeah, pretty excited. Only another 2 months!

I have only seen a few bengals that are charcoals with rosettes and most are charcoal snows. That does not mean your kitty will not have nice spots but they will be inky black without the light colored center which is what would make it a rosette. Vader will indeed be a nice looking boy and will probably have nice contrast. Congrats on your decision and I look forward to seeing him mature. We don't get to see many charcoals on the forum and they are one of my favorites!

Two months of waiting will be difficult! But so worth it in the end. Vader will have so much love for all of you and he'll receive the best home and love from his humans. I hope the time flies for you. If you get any more pictures of him from the breeder, feel free to post them. We'd love to see how Vader grows and changes.
