got really annoyed today with the Petplan .
so they say - if you have "ongoing health condition" over couple years - you have to pay excess on claim every year .
so that means if i have to take Clive for heart scans for his heart murmur once every 12 months they will deduct excess on each year claim.

Does this sound right to you guys??

they also recently raised our insurance payments , i am now paying £32 per month

not sure whether to continue to stay with them or leave

I also noticed this when I sent in my claim for Hendrix and his knees - however, will another provider cover a pre-existing health condition? My understanding is that PetPlan is a very good company for pet insurance and I won't be changing even though I was a bit annoyed as well when my insurance payment arrived and they'd excluded part of it as it didn't exceed the excess - I'd assumed it would be added on to the other invoice as it was all part of the same on-going health issue.

Is the premium you are paying for one cat or two? I pay £37 pm for two.

That is normal with every pet insurance.

One of my kittens has eye problems so she stayed with me. I paid excess on her kitten policy, then paid the excess on her own policy, next year I will pay the excess again.

Hi there as Clare said I wouldn't leave as otherwise the heart problem would be classed as a pre-existing condition and you wouldn't be able to claim for it.

i still feel i am being ripped off though , even though its not a money thing.
