Hiya, try if you can to build some sort of picture so that when you got to the vet you can give them more of an idea of what might be happening.
ie what is the vomit like? Hairballs, un digested food, bile etc
when does it happen, any time, after eating, sleeping, playing, how often per day/week & how long has it been going on for
What food are you feeding etc
how is the cat in itself, tired, happy, off its food, eating drinking ok etc
How are the cats toilets, solid poop, messy poop, peeing a lot, not peeing much....
Often if there is a problem there will be a few things pointing to it but with this information your vet should be able to form a bigger picture....good luck x
