I found out very recently that Dexter has the coronavirus. I know that this is fairly common and in rare circumstances can mutate to FIP.

We had great news recently that Dexter's results for TF were clear and his diarrhoea has been so much better. We were so happy.

Over the last week though his stomach has swollen and we took him to the vets tonight who did an x-ray hoping to find just air pockets. Unfortunately it looks like fluid

The Vet said it does not look good and we have to take Dexter in tomorrow morning for him to have anaesthetic so he can have a scan and they can withdraw some fluid and send it off for testing.

We won't get the results for another 5 days but I really think he has FIP. If this is the case we will pts as I do not want him to suffer
