Hello all,
Today I heard some rustling behind the sofa and when I looked behind I saw my Toyger Millie scurry off and to my dismay I then discovered what seemed to be urine that contained blood. I say 'seemed' as the fluid was far clearer than previous accidental wees I have cleaned up and it also did not smell of Urine.
I'm sure it's worth mentioned so here is some history of her health lately: In recent times (around the past month and a half) she has been vomiting small amounts that was entirely comprised of food and after some research I attributed this to greed (which made perfect sense since she loves to eat) though of course I took her to the vets. About 2 weeks ago she vomited a considerable amount that consisted of partially digested food and a large amount of liquid, which of course had me very concerned so again I took her to the vet. For maybe a week prior to this incident she has been pooing out of the litter tray and the faeces was often very soft and almost yellow.
All of this was mentioned whilst visiting the vet, and after a general check-up, he deemed all to be well and deduced this sickness was most probably a result of fur balls and prescribed some liquid paraffin and also administered a shot of antibiotics as a fail safe measure. Since then her faeces has been 100% solid and normal and there has been sick only twice, but a very small amount. During all of this, her eating and drinking habits have not altered at all and nor has her level of comfort. She appears exactly the same. Also she's been in the tray since the discovery with no signs of abnormalities.
I'd really appreciate some advise.
John
