My little boy is throwing up, should I worry?

Hey guys! My Bengal Finn is going to be a year old in April. He has pretty much been healthy from the start. Well yesterday he started throwing up. It started as a brownish yellow liquid. He was still drinking and eating and playing. He made a loud howling noise when he was about to throw up. He threw up a few more times and then it seemed to settle. His stomach did make funky gorling noises but that happens with him from time to time.
When we cleaned his litter box we saw a pile of green gunk on the carpet. He did go inside the box and pooped.
Today we noticed he threw up again but now a deep green color. He still does not seem lethargic. His gums are not discolored and he is not bothered by me touching his stomach. He was a little adverse to eating his solid food so we got him some wet food and he's eating.
Upon doing research I found a bunch of different scary posts... But should I worry or is this maybe just a stomach upset?
He does beg for food often and he did lick some of my sandwich cheese yesterday early in the morning.

Has he been outside? Or do you have any plants or flowers in the house?

Nope. He never goes outside and we have no plants. We had a Christmas tree but we have tossed that already 2 weeks ago so I figure that has nothing to do with that.

Chilli threw up multiple times once. I took him to the vet and they gave him an anti sickness jab. He was fine after. Perhaps a visit to the vet to check for obstructions would be wise. The vet will also be able to put your mind at rest if it is just a case of "being sick". Good luck

Thanks, I will schedule a vet visit. :-] Well he didn't throw up all night. My fiancé stayed up to monitor him. We are gonna keep him separate from the others today just to give him some rest. I will call the vet today and make an appointment though.

Can't hurt to get him checked over and make sure he's not dehydrated and doesn't have anything stuck in his tummy.

So I took Finn to the vet. He is dehydrated so they are giving him fluids and antibiotics and meds to keep him from throwing up. They did a blood panel and saw some abnormalities that could he tied to the dehydration but now they are running a urinalysis test. She said x-raying is quite pricy and she recommends to see if with all of this he gets better and if not come back. Thoughts?

Finn died this morning. It was so sudden. We followed all of the vets directions. As soon as we noticed he was struggling we got dressed to rush to the ER vet and within minutes he was gone. I don't even know what to do right now. We have never had to deal with something like this before and I can't even breath.

Aw bless you im so very sorry to hear this sad news. Im gutted for you. Just realise he is no longer in any pain and you did all you could to help him out.

Oh no! I'm so sorry you lost him. I can't even imagine how devastated you are.

You may want to ask the vet to do a necropsy to determine what happened, it may help to know exactly what was wrong with him.

Thanks for the kind replies. The vet is at a loss and devastated as well. She doesn't understand how he took such a turn for the worse. She said since he died at 5 am that now the results would be pretty inconclusive if we did a necropsy. I just don't understand and can't quit thinking about what I did wrong.

Gosh, I'm really sorry. That's really terrible. Throwing up a few times isn't usually the type of thing that makes me panic and rush to the vet (when appetite and activity level are normal), so that's kind of doubly shocking. I really feel for you and I think you did all you could.

I know it's easier said than done but please don't beat yourself up. You did what any of us would, you got him to the vet and followed their instructions.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please don't blame yourself you did everything that you could and followed the vet's advice.
