We have some big news - I've known about this for a while and hence not been as active on the forum as I'd perhaps have liked. Now it's official, time to share - I've been offered a transfer with the company I work for to Canada, to which I'm going to accept
It was a hard decision to leave family and friends behind, but hope that it will offer the best opportunity for Isaac and our future kids.
We've yet to decide what to do with Zeus and Hestia. We realise that air travel for cats, certainly ones from the UK isn't a problem. However, we're concerned about the more social side of things - finding somewhere to rent which will allow pets and having to put them into a cattery often for any trips back home or holidays. The options are we leave them here (with my parents) until we have the opportunity to take them over or we consider re-homing them
. We appreciate that taking on pets are a big responsibility and had we known that we would have this opportunity, we would have thought twice about getting them in the first place, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.....
