Hey everyone!
First of all i would like to say what a great forum this is! The people seems very friendly and really helpful!
To the question:
My little baby is coming home in about two weeks (hes 12,5 weeks then) so i thought id ask you guys for some "pro" tips or if there is anything i might have missed.
I have taken two weeks off starting at his arrival so we can start bonding as soon as he comes. Ive prepared my bedroom (since i heard its best for them to settle into one room first) for his arrival with food/water tray, water fountain, a small house with a scratching post, litter tray, same food/litter as my breeder and lots of toys. I also build a staircase to the top bookshelf so he can get really high and get a nice view of the room. I have also gotten a large cat-tree for him in the living room for when he is ready to start exploring the rest of the apartment.

Is there anything you guys notice Ive missed?
When can i start training him with a harness? I want to be able to start walking him as soon as possible since i believe animals shouldn't be deprived of the outdoors.

Congratulations on such a beautiful little kitty. He should be well socialized when you get him. He's so adorable. You have just about everything planned -- and perfectly, I might add. You've done your research, which is wonderful! You will want him to settle in and get comfortable. By the looks of his environment with his breeder, that should not take long. He's a playful little guy, so you'll want to try to engage him in play when you think he's ready. Some bengals acclimate very quickly. Some are a little more shy, but it's a whole change for them and you'll have to be patient. But, based on what I saw, this little man should do very well with you. You've got a wonderful environment set out for him already and that's half the battle. Just enjoy the little guy and let us know how he does. Enjoy him those couple of weeks you're off.

Edited to comment on when you can safely walk him. He will be tiny little fella, but once he settles in and is comfortable, you can attempt to put a harness on him and see how he reacts to it. Most cats have a look like "what on earth is this" and they try to walk backwards to try and get out of it. Make sure he's comfortable wearing the harness or harness jacket. Once he's not trying to tear it off him, you can attach the leash and carry him outdoors. I'm sure he won't do much the first time you're out there. You simply want him where you can control how far away from you he goes. He'll gradually build up confidence and will want to go a big further. Just enjoy the time together with him. Bring a towel so you can sit down while he's sniffing around.

It sounds like you've prepared pretty well. You probably should book an initial appointment with the vet within the first week or so if you haven't planned for that yet. Also just set your expectations correctly for his coming home. The first 24 or 48 hours or so are often challenging for both you and him. For many cat's it's about the worst day of their lives, and they just want to hide and cower and call for the family they are losing. So if your kitten is like that (and there is a chance he might not be), just take things slow, be supportive, but don't rush things. You will bond with him soon enough, but it might not happen as soon as you'd like it to.

I'd recommend getting some sort of "fishing rod" type of toy if you haven't already. Such as:

Happy House cats also makes really excellent walking jackets too (or at least they used to) but right now the shop seems to be temporarily closed.

So cute! But don't let him bite you like he is doing in the video - only let him bite toys, otherwise he will learn that it is ok to bite people!

He's really cute but you will need to find him a toy to play with like that, rather than your hand and arm. What's really cute now will not be so cute when he's 10-12 lbs or more with claws like talons and jaws that can shatter bone.

With regard to the harness, I had Quasar in a kitten harness on the drive home from the breeders. He was so used to the harness by the time I tried to walk him that it has never been an issue. I liken it to imprinting a foal when he is born so that "breaking" him when he is 1000 lbs or more is much easier.

I have gotten him some wand type toys. I also bought two puzzles for him, since im going to be away a few hours on xmas, i dont want him to be bored and feel lonely. Is there a certain time limit i should be aware of? So far im thinking that i wont wanna leave him alone longer than 3-4 hours.
I was out today and got him a puppia harness, talked to the breeder and she said these are the ones working best for her.
She also told me that they are so happy with his personality/temperament and looks that they are giving me the opportunity not to nuder him, like the contract says, and instead keeping him as a breeding male. Im gonna talk to them again when hes around 5-6 months and decide what to do. So i have lots of time to study this more but since im already here i might as well ask a few questions.
What are the major differences between neutered males and non neutered?
Are there any difficulties, except spraying i should be aware of? (his dad doesn't spray, fingers crossed)
If you guys were in my position, what would you have done?

Unless you want to breed him, you definitely need to get him neutered. You'll have a much better behaved kitty! Raiden was neutered at 12 weeks and, unfortunately, still loves to mark outside when we are on our daily walks. You are fortunate to have a male if you decide to breed him as you won't be responsible for the kittens, but since you really want a pet, I think it's worth it to make him simply a pet. You don't want to have to ship him all over the country to be used as a stud!

He should be fine for a few hours on his own. Most kitties will sleep.
