Jarvis and Miss Pepper are coming home tomorrow night. The breeder recommended I buy some powdered milk to give them when they come home. My question is: how long should I give them milk? Mom has already weaned them. This week she started plucking out their whiskers if they would try and nurse.

As the hour draws closer I get more excited. I can't wait to get them home. Tonight I buy their litter box and a couple of other toys that I think they'll like. And tonight their room will be all set to go.

See that's what I thought to. It sounded more like. Give them milk from a bowl to make them feel more at home. Because I would not be nursing them. Lol.

To me it sounds a little weird. Most weaned kittens will drink water. I would never give Raiden powdered milk. Not sure it would have the nutrients in it for a cat. They do have milk especially for cats in the pet food aisle, but from what I've read, weaned cats do not require milk.

I'll keep an eye out when they get home tomorrow. I've got 4 days to help them get adjusted.

Quasar has never had milk or milk substitute from the time I have had him, at 13 weeks of age. He has never seemed to be lacking.
