Oh, all those breeds are just so beautiful! I've noticed Raiden has started to shed his "winter" coat.

There really isnt a "hypoallergenic" breed as it can vary greatly from cat to cat within the same breed. My son has severe allergies to most cats but isn't bothered by our two bengals. I also have a friend that is allergic to Jasper but not BB. So it just goes to show that cats and people alike are very different when it comes to allergies.

It's true there isn't really an allergy free cat, but some people certainly have less of a reaction (or no reaction) to certain breeds. Technically, "hypo" means "less" anyway, so hypoallergenic in its true sense means something that causes fewer allergies. I'm horribly allergic to most domestic cats, but we got a bengal cat and I haven't had any issues with her at all. I was (pleasantly) surprised.
