I have two that both like to cuddle. both need to be on my lap, even when on the computer they are on my lap or sitting on the desk in front of the monitor staring at me.

Keto's a 4, totally snuggly, but the kitten is a 1 which is soo sad cos she's adorable n all I want to do is cuddle her.

Link cuddles 100% on his own terms which is usually but not limited too:

- I have a blanket on my lap/chest
- I'm doing something productive where him laying on me is counter-productive
- He is cold, my legs are warm
- He wants something!!

All of a sudden my Bengal Lux has gone from no cuddles, too whenever i laydown or its bed time and she is allowed in our room for about an hour, she will lay on my stomach or next to me or anywhere.

She was recently spayed so i think that has something to do with it

Diablo loves to be held like a baby, dangled upside down, and will allow us to kiss his little head as much as we like (which is often ). He is not a "lap" cat. However, at bedtime, I leave about a foot of space between my pillow and the headboard, and he will sleep there, with our heads touching all night.

He also loves to be brushed every morning, but hates when I do his teeth.

Simba (F2) is a MEGA cuddle monkey - You can almost hear him say, "cuddle me now". If he is on my lap I have to be constantly stroking him or he gets up in my face and demands attention by licking my nose! If I get up to change the DVD/top up my glass of wine/pick up a book I can cradle him like a baby and walk across the room and he won't move, he'll just stay cooried in and purr! (I feel very privileged!)

Flick (F3) on the other hand is changeable - she's up on my lap one moment, then off she goes again, and later she's back for a wee while. I would say 3 out eveings out of the week she'll grace my lap for more than a nanosecond! When she does she likes to s-t-r-e-t-c-h right out and doesn't want to be handled too much.

I think these are a great idea and should be made as stickys....it's really important for people to see REAL Bengal owners experiences.

As for my lot I picked cuddley.....not one does not love a good fuss and a warm lap

So far Diesel isn't a lap cat at all, but he's fine with being picked up, held and kissed on. He also cuddles with me in bed every night, but he'll only sleep on the outside edge of the bed, he will not sleep between my husband and I. He also wakes me up purring in my face and licking my cheek or chin when he's ready to start his day (sometimes at 3am) and wants his morning pets.

Aza is a "somewhat cuddly" kind of guy except for two places... ...the bed at night (where he snuggles in the curve of his choice when finally ready to sleep) and my lap (only during my first cup of coffee) in the morning. After that, it's off to the races with his coonie siblings... ...no time for serious cuddling again until the day is done.

Wow, great response to this poll. 56 bengal owners! I wasn't even sure there were 56 bengal owners still active on this forum. It definitely gives us all some perspective when we have a bengal that is or isn't a cuddle kitty.

I voted 'somewhat cuddly' as a combination of our two. Loki (SBT) is the cuddliest kitty ever at night time, in our bedroom when he's the only one in there. He sleeps with us most nights because it seems to be his favorite thing. He rolls around, purrs, snuggles - the whole deal. During the daytime he's not as cuddly, just more of a sweetie who finds his own places to nap or curl up. He loves to be petted and loves attention from anyone, he's a bit of a show-off sometimes. Linux (F1) doesn't particularly enjoy being held, but he will let me. He is more of a climber, he likes to be ON me but not held by me. He is never too far though, he's almost always nearby or at least in the same room. He also always comes zooming over to me when I call his name or nickname (Loki just ignores you most of the time). He is not too fond of strangers but he's not really afraid of them either, just very cautious. There are a few family/friends who can pet him when they come over but that's about it. He seems to be the most affectionate with me whenever I'm in/around the bathroom, especially after a shower!

I voted 'somewhat' as they have their moments. Sasha hates being picked up. Bruno tolerates it and gets carried around like a baby by the kids. They both like lap time and gentle rubs under the chin.
