Hi everyone im a very proud new owner of a bengal girl 6month old called Lilly

Shes still not gone out as shes only had her injection 2 weeks ago and she of to the vets tomorrow to be neutred/ spayed what ever u call it. Anyway my question is we are thinking of getting a cat tree for here and we are just after some advice about them. we have seen this one on ebay

What we was wondering is would this be sturdy enough for a Bengal? she already has some power when she runs at the scratching post.
Any advice on cat trees would be great.

Edit, just looked at the one on ebay and I don't think it would be very stable as it only has 2 posts at the base rather than the normal 3, and a lively Bengal needs stability!

I think the EBay one looks great.

Height is definitely something to consider, the higher the better I think.

Personally I think the Ebay one looks super stable. With 3 posts plus 2 bases with the one angled slightly to give more stability is spot on and gonna have to try and see if anyone in the states carries that one.

I have one extremely similar to the one you mentioned on Ebay and it works perfectly for my two. I'm sure there are a lot more out there that are better in quality and probably more stable (mine is fairly stable though i don't think it would take much more than two crazy Bengals ). I only paid $100 for mine including shipping so i am very happy with it as the price was right and it seems to be holding up just fine, even after 6 months of use. I'm sure it will have to be replaced eventually but so far so good!

Stability is everything. I have a cheap one that will topple over when Raiden jumps up on it. It's currently inside against a wall, so it's not a problem. There must be reviews online for the one you're looking at. Read them. Some will be positive, some negative, but it will give you an idea of how good it is constructed.

I have one that looks identical (save fort he colour) to the ebay one (mine was on Amazon) and can confirm that it handles my two Bengals very well. It wobbles a bit when they charge up it but it is not unstable.

I bought exactly the same one from ebay, from the same supplier this week for my 10 month old kitten, called Percy. It arrived within three working days, in a sturdy box had great instructions and was very easy to assemble (no tools required all in the box).
Anyway Percy is a big strong kitten and launches himself at the tree from off the dining room table and I have found it to be pretty stable, it doesn't move at all. He loves to cat nap in the little house though he only just fits!
I have added a few dangly toys to keep him amused and he plays on it for hours.
I would definitely invest in it...........

I'm new to the forum but noticed this post, I think that ebay one looks brill. Mine has a similar 6 ft tree and bounces off of it like she's going to come through the ceiling but it has always been sturdy! I think she'll love it!

My husband made an awesome tree for our bengals. He cut down a real tree about five to six inches in diameter. We cut off the limbs and sawed some horizontal slots in the tree. Then he put the base of the tree in a Xmas tree ring and connected the top of the tree to the ceiling with a shower cutain expands rod. Then we put some little boards in the horizontal slots to serve as perches. Our kitties love it! It cost less than twenty bucks and has withstood many high speed bengal chase scenes over six years!
