Warning:
If anyone has unused Tesco clubcard vouchers sat in their account please go online to check them. I went on last night and all of ours we had saved up this year (£154) had been spent... in Caernarfon and Windle!!!!

All points are being reinstated as they can tell it wasn't me that spent them! I still have the paper vouchers so someone has managed to get into my account and reprint them. Apparently you do not need to present the actual clubcard when spending your points!!!!!

Thieving scumbags!

Oh wow - thanks for the warning. Would they be able to track who has done it? Some people are disgusting.

I have recently seen many posts on the Money Saving Expert forum from people who have been victims of this scam, some have lost amounts in the £100+. Last month I was planning to change to the online account to save paper/postage, however after reading so many complaints regarding this scam due to Tesco's lack of security and the amounts being stolen from customers' voucher accounts I decided to continue receiving my vouchers by post!

Makes no difference. I still have the paper vouchers that were stolen. Everyone has a chance to have an online account as well. It is this that was hacked! I still get my vouchers sent to me but you can log in online and reprint your vouchers or spend them online... This us what happened to mine.

We got all the points recredited to our account... Just annoying and frightening that it happens so easily.

I have heard of this happening to someone else around the same time. They are from around the Lanacshire area and had apparantly been living it up in a branch near Scottland! All points were reinstated but it's not nice to know someone's stolen something from you.
