Wanted to know if this is true or not that the girl bengals have a better bond with men than woman. I have a female bengal kitten and just want to have a great bond with her. But couple of friends that also have bengals and they said that the male bengals get on better with woman. Thanks kind regards

Well my girl is definitely a mummy's girl, and my boy totally owns my fiancé, Jeff.

Its probably quite individual to the cats and the people.

Well, Lilly loves everyone. Male or female but she has the strongest bond with me (female) daisy on the other hand. If a male walks in the house she will run and hide! Even my dad who is here every evening, well she will even hide from him and we've had her since April lol!

So no not all females bond with males.

My girl loves me, doesn't like my husband, but really likes my brother and another male friend who visits often. I really think it is dependent on the cat and the person.

I think cats bond more with the primary caretaker and the one who spends the most time with them. In my case, that's me! So Raiden is much more a mommy's boy than a daddy's boy.

I have a male and female and they are both my babies! As stated above I am their caretaker and they know who to suck up to to get their food I have to say tho they Seem to go through phases as to who they choose at the time, they are both by far my babies but my girl has to sleep with my husband during the day(he works nights) and Jasper was obsessed with my husband for a short time when he was on a two week vacation from work. So really it all depends not only on just the cat and the human but what mood the cat is in and what they are trying to manipulate out of someone. Haha reading back on that it sounds horrible but for the most part it's very true!!

I am female and the sole cat food can opener in my house.

Not sure what my cats think, but I bond better with male cats.

I currently have 5 cats. One female who is 22 years old, then 5 males that are 15, 2, 1-1/2, and the baby is 2 months old. The female has never been overly affectionate towards me. The boys will take turns being little love bugs when they want to snuggle. My oldest male @ 15 years old is the biggest cuddler. He sleeps in my arms at night with his paws on my face...

Both my Bengals are boys and they don't care who they cuddle!! Some nights they will both snuggle up on me and other nights they will snuggle up on hubby. My two sons (19 and 17) are in and out a lot so they don't tend to get many cuddles but if they're sat down for any length of time, then one or both will quite happily snuggle up on top of them.

Aww everyones cats just sound so cuddly :) she is starting to bond with me cause I feed her and spend most of my time with her :) shes still getting used to us xx

Quasar was a constant cuddler as a small kitten. Now 19 months old, he rarely sits on me but loves to be with me constantly. He follows me everywhere.
He used to sleep with me at night but, as the weather cooled, he has taken to sleeping on his cushion in front of the extinguished gas fireplace. The fire is off but the pilot light makes this a very warm place. Our bedroom is cooler now than it was just a month ago.
He may not be a cuddler but does show his affection in other ways, primarily by running up behind me, grabbing my butt, then running away. This means he wants me to play. He also likes to lie near me on the couch when we watch tv in the evenings.
The first time I took him to the vet for a check up, as a kitten, I told the vet how cuddly he was. The vet said, "Enjoy it. It won't last." I laughed at this in disbelief but, he was correct.
