Hi, and welcome to the forum.

You should keep the new cat in a room away from the other cats for awhile (I did this for almost two weeks). Of course, have food, water, litter box and a bed available. This helps them to feel secure, and prevents serious fighting with the others. This also helps prevent potty accidents since she knows right where her litter box is. Spend lots of one on one time with her so she gets to know you. I know of some people who put a sock on their hand and pet the new cat, and then pet the other cats so they can get used to each other's scent. I am sure she is just scared. Go slow with the introductions. Hissing and swatting is common at first. Make sure all cats claws are trimmed. I wouldn't leave them all together unsupervised until you know that they are tolorating each other.

Bengals are vocal cats. She may be a little more vocal right now because of being in a new home. Bengals love attention and "ask" for it often!

Just be patient with the introductions, and take your time. I am sure it will all work out.

She currently spends her time in my bedroom, so there's plenty of my scent around and I spend time with her frequantly throughout the day. Last nite she curled up next to me to sleep, so finger's crossed she's settling in good.
I'll leave her there for another week and then let her out to explore whilst my other cats are shut away in a room I think.
Hopefully that'll work.

I followed all the "rules" for introducing new cats into the home, and 19 mos. later my rescued Bengal still hisses and yowls at the other cats. She didn't have a real problem with my elderly male Himalayan, whom I lost on Christmas Eve. She does have a problem with my Tuxedo, who is definitely an alpha female. I do know who the sneaky trouble maker is (she terrorizes my young adult male who probably outweighs her by 5 lbs!) but the Bengal definitely starts the yelling and growling--defensive, rather than offensive.

Just updating you, Betz is settling really well, have spent a few days slowly introducing her to the bunnies, they are now great with eachother, Bengals catch on sooo quickly, it was easy at first, but with patience and time, they adapt very well.
