Update

ok i have an update on locators vs flashing collars.

So i have been using Locators now during the day for the past month or so - OMG , I feel like I am blind without it now!
I learnt (or adapted) to it to know when locator tells me they are in the house or outside as well
So it has been working really great so far.

At pitch black night time I still rely on flashing collars though. Flashing collars are great in the dark. and battery seems last ages ! Our collars began to wear out a bit but the battery still going strong!

A bit more update on proximity feature.
So we have learnt how to use it and it works bloody well!! Basically it tells me when any of them out of the range and a loud alarm comes on. We have arranged it that way that alarm comes on when any if them go around corner of the house or inside the house. Which is what I needed in the first place !! To sum up : a little bit patience and some male tech touch needed and that thing can do amazing things!!! So happy with my purchase now!! Totally worth it!

hi all I have a bengal now for 7mnths and have been looking into gps for smokie found a few but not sure which is best... But why as no-1 come up with a kinetic gps system what works off movement or the heart beat?...replys welcome.

I have hurd of gps chips. may friend looked it up 4 me when my femail escaped and went missing.its ment to be Simular 2 the icloud my female came back pregnant after a week of me going out of my mind.

Extremely old topic. Now they have Pod Trackers. The key is that the cat needs to enjoy wearing a collar. My outdoor cat loses them. After the third one, I've given up! He will scratch at them until he draws blood around his neck to get one off. Ironically, I've found many break away collars on our walks, but never one that belonged to our outdoor cat. So it is common that many cats don't like wearing a collar.
