Apologies if this information is already on the site - I've looked but not found it. Is there any way I can find out what generation my Bengal boy is? His pedigree certificate lists his great great grandparents so I'm assuming he must be at least 5th, but I'd love to know more.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, only by the paperwork, and you might need to look at the paperwork of his grandparents or higher to follow his heritage up to an ALC.

I found that by searching for some of the cats listed in the pedigree i received with Diego on the internet, i found several of them with their pedigrees listed that would go back further than what i had, so i continued to do this until i got back to the start :)

I think i was probably fairly lucky as there weren't too many generations to go back through but it might at least get you a little further?

Ask your breeder? - they should really have this information

Thank you Piggle for the tip. I managed to find out that our Jaxy is eight generations from an ALC. :)
