I know many of you will not understand my excitement but here goes!
Lily has been quite standoffish since we got her. She rarely cuddles and definitely would never sleep on myself or my partner.
Well, recently she began to get more affectionate and today she walked over to me, meowed and made a bit of a noise. I picked her up and cradled her, expecting her to jump - only for her to lay looking around for a few seconds before going to sleep.

I feel like she's finally trusting me enough after almost a month. She slept like that for 30 mins until I had to move a little then she laid down next to me and went right back to sleep.

Aww isn't that the most amazing thing! I know how excited I was she Jasper didn't run from me, imagine my excitement when he finally went to sleep on me( now I have to pry his 16 pound butt off me), keep up what you are doing and she will trust you and be your best companion!

neonyellowclover - that sounds amazing. I did get a little emotional. I thought she'd be terrified of me forever so it was so great.

Picture is the best I could do with one hand at the time. I've been showing everyone possible and no one gets why I'm so excited haha.



She's really made a difference in my life. I never thought it's what would happen but I find myself excited about coming home to play with her and stuff!

That is the cutest picture ever! You can tell she is 100% content!!! Isn't it crazy how kittens can have you wrapped around their little paw in no time at all!!! BTW the excitement doesn't wear off as she gets older! I am still in aww over my two! I can watch them play for ages and it still melts my heart when one(mostly BB) decides to climb into my arms for a cuddle!

I get it. My boy is an ex stud and it took him a while to become the smoochy lover boy he is today. I'll never forget the first time he rolled over and showed me his belly (a sign of trust and submission). Aaaw.

Haha! She's terrified of the rabbit so no danger! He just wants to sniff her but she runs off and hides from him.

The rabbit kicking thing happens often. She'll clutch and kick but rarely uses claws!
