If I may, the line of questioning and assumption that one knows little about other topics relating to (in this case, breeding Bengals) is common in many forum environments.
To me, it seems like a way those on the forum can catch the person "not knowing" things they should, and either flame them, or truly just help them (generally it's usually the latter, in my experience).
I do agree though, there are times I go on forums to ask a question and would just like a simple answer instead of going off topic being asked other questions (albeit, related questions). I find it annoying but generally take it in stride. I just prefer not to have to give my life history, SSN, and blood type when asking for the best recipe for bread (if you know what I mean)
If I wanted to get on an over-all topic of owning a stud, I would ask specifically about that.
Again, I'm sure it was just in an attempt to spark conversation and wasn't in an accusatory manor. I mean no disrespect by my post :)
This is all just IMHO...
