He will be 11 weeks old Monday. I got him when he was 6 weeks old. He has had his shots had a physical been dewormed had his leukemia and feline aids tests which was negative but he was not vaccinated for leukemia n aids becuz he will never b outside or around other csts except our 15months who is totally healthy n had all her shots with a clean bill of health. He does not like 2 be held but he plays alot like any normal kitten. He is eating Wellness Kitten Dry and Wellness kitten wet and for some reason he onky takes a few bites of his wet and then he trys 2 cover it with dry food or with his paws like he would in a litter box. Idk y he does this strange behavior

Typically and suggested by TICA kittens shouldn't be rehomed before 12 weeks of age! There is good reason for this! Kittens learn so much from there litter mates and their mother! I would think that you kitten is crying and calling for his mom and litter mates! He is still a tiny baby and will act like one for sometime! He was separated to early and he will probably suffer from this and perhaps you will too! With that being said it is really impossible to turn back the hands of time and give him the socialization that he needed. My first question would be, have you had a "safe room" for him? Did you allow him free roam of you home and introductions to your resident cat immediately?

I got at him at 6 weeks bcuz the breeder said the mother was being meam 2 the kittens n stopped nursing. I learned soon after that I should not have listened 2 the breeder n its also illegsl for him 2 sell kittens that young. I took him 2 the vet a few days after getting him n he was healthy n since then he has had his 1st shots n de worming etc. I kept him away from our 15month old until he was approx 9 weeks of age after 2 week so i out up a baby gate n opened the bedroom door so they could see each other. The good thing she is a femal 15month old calico spayed female cat who treated him like he was a baby or sumthg .He did not have free run of my house becuz my house is over 5000 sq feet n he was2 small 2 roam freely so I kept him my spare bedroom with all his toys 2 cat trees his food water n a litter box n I slept in the bedroomwith him every night. My kids played with him many hours a day. Now he is almost 11 weeks old ( monday he will b 11 weeks) I now let him run freely but at midnight i put him into my bedroom wi5h me n my husbsnd n he sleeps in bed with me in his kitty bed . We play with him and give alot of attn but he CRYS alot esoecially when I leave a room he has another vet appointment at 12 weeks of age for more shots deworming etc but I worried about the crying. He sometimes cries in his sleeps WHAT CAN I DO ???

Hi, we got Mischief and Mayhem at six weeks too, again because the breeder told us to.
Anyway, they cried a lot too. Especially Mayhem, she's still very cuddly and is now 8 months. She only cries now if she's wanting attention, as if she doesn't get plenty!, and if I'm in bed and she's woken up alone.
It does stop, eventually. They do seem to grow out of the constant mewing, sometimes I think they are just talking to us, telling us what's happened lol
But the first few months, it's like having a new baby in the house, lost count if the times I slept on the floor with them:-)

I have the same problem :)
Our 6 months old kitten always meowing. This is not promblem at day time, but he starts to meow in the night (mostly in dawn) loudly. He wakes up us a lot of time, sometimes we cant sleep very well.
What can we do? What do you recommend?
