We looked at quite a few of the sites mentioned on this thread for ideas when thinking about cat proofing our garden, but my DH is a bit of a DIY freak, so he wanted to make his own version.
We finished the work at the weekend, and I've posted some pictures below. The netting is secured to the top of the fence with a thin piece of wood so there's no chance of anyone sneaking underneath and it is attached to the brackets/wire with literally hundreds of cable ties (my fingers were raw by the end of it!).
We have four moggies, and only one of them has managed to escape, his nickname has always been Houdini, so at the moment we're still in "test run" stage, he's showing us the weak spots and we are fixing them. We think we've finally cracked it now though because he's not got out for a couple of days.
Our Bengal, Saffie, who is 8 months, is loving her time outside - she only goes out while we are outside at the moment, and it has calmed her down a lot because she is quite tired by the end of the day and I find that she comes on to my lap to sleep more than she ever has.
Sorry that the pictures are so huge, it's taken me ages to work out out to even get them there, I will work on making them smaller
