Ever since I brought her home last august, Kira has been a scaredy-cat. She runs from every loud noise. She usually has one eye half shut due to something in it, but the eye changes from time to time. She gets stepped on. She just recently got her paw smooshed in the door jam, as she sticks it in when I'm getting her food and I accidentally closed it on her!
Now she's afraid of the door. She just fell today from the ledge on the staircase.. about 4 feet, and now is limping! The vet said to observe her and if she's limping tomorrow, to bring her in. I"m so worried! I don't know how to curb her scaredy-catness.. I think it may be the reason she's always getting hurt, or perhaps they feed on each other. She doesn't like me much.. every now and then she'll come around for a snuggle but she'd rather spend her time with our moggie, Luna. I was just wondering; does anyone have ideas on how to get her to be less of a scaredy cat and perhaps less of a clutz?
I love her to death, but her life seems full of terrors.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
