creating a good looking sig

iv uploaded a few pics to image shack, and made a very simple gif thing

what programmes or sites have people used to make their very lovely sigs on?? i want to be able to add text and change the layout ect but no clue how unless i did it on microsoft word?? "/ lol

any help would be great x

I did mine and a few others for forum members on my cell phone/tablet. I did a write up in the gallery section. If you made a GIF file it won't be animated if your using imageshack you need to use photobuckt IIRC.

what heading is your write up under?? my gif is animated on here, it just alternates between 3 pics i chose nothing amazing lol x

ahhh i found ur tutorial, so cus im using a computer can i access that picsart thing for android on the internet?? or a similar editing thing a mee jig :lol:

Sorry the GIF didn't work on my phone. It works on my tab just fine. I don't use computers so maybe someone else could point you in the right direction. No you can't use Android apps on a computer but the template I was using was for a "Facebook Banner" maybe that could help you find a program. So many nice sigs on here I hope someone chimes in to help.

I don't have a way to combine GIFs so there side by side in the correct format but you can send stills to viperkeeper@gmail.com and I can put them together.

I have made mine either using the InstaCollage app or the Kizoa collage maker at http://www.kizoa.com/Collage-Maker. You need to purchase Kizoa in order to save your collage to your computer though, so what I did was (Using Windows 7) finish everything up and then use the snipping tool to capture it.

Then after using either of these programs, open the photos in paint and then scale the pixel size accordingly to fit without messing up the pics. Believe the biggest you can end up with is 700w x 200h.

My current one was done using the InstaCollage app for the Iphone.

Good luck! I have MAJOR add when I make these things as I have tons of fun doing it. :lol:

Ahhhh i have tried so many different things to get a good sig. Was using Serif Photo Plus (Same as Photoshop) on my laptop but it got far too complicated. I saw this post and download Instacollage on my iphone the other day and think it is fab and so easy to use and SO addictive, but couldn't figure how to make my sqaure collage, recatangle, to use as a sig, and also wondered how you (tephie) managed to get so many pictures in your template...... then the penny just dropped - you have merged two together right? GENIOUS!!!!

I am now off to finally try and make a decent signature lol :-)
