So it is finally time for our cruise. We will be gone from December 16-22. I am not looking forward to leaving the boys behind, but we do know they will be in entirely capable hands.

Honestly, I think I am the most upset that we will be missing the season finale of Dexter on Showtime this Sunday night. It's the DAY we leave! Come on! I can't believe it. Internet on the ship is $30 for 60 minutes so I highly doubt we will be going that route. heh.

We are going on a CRUISE to the CARIBBEAN for a whole WEEK and I am worried about our cats and missing Dexter! What's wrong with me???

There is nothing WRONG with you! I miss my kids and pets everytime I go somewhere without them. Its normal to miss what you love and what makes home , well home! I think you will be just fine and I know your babies will be! Look who they are staying with! Its incredible that your boys will be staying with someone who not only loves cats but someone that appreciates them for WHAT THEY ARE! She has exactly what you have and I am sure she will look after them in the same way! So ENJOY yourself with your Bret and take all of that beauty in! Oh and dont worry about Dexter (the show) I am sure you can catch back up!

Thanks for the kind words! Bauer is so shy so I am hoping he doesn't get stressed out by the whole situation. You're right though, if we were going to be able to leave them with anyone with such confidence it would have to be Jessica. Hehe. It is very funny that we have the same Bengal pair. And to think we almost got a seal lynx point baby!! =]

We just got these awesome clear plastic flasks called "rum runner cruise kit" to smuggle liquor onto the ship so ill have to let you guys know if it works. It's a very clever idea so I'm interested to see how things turn out. Supposedly they are undetectable. Should be fun!!

Dexter and Bauer have settled in very nicely. Even Bauer isn't afraid anymore, it only took him till the end of the first day to stop hiding. They both turn into little monsters at feeding time (I have never heard such a loud, demanding scream as the one that comes out of Dex's mouth!) but other than that they are very sweet.

I am glad the boys are doing good and settling in! You could have had your hands VERY full That is a great pic of Dex he looks like he is howling at the moon!
