Why is there a time limit on the "edit" button?
A bit annoying.

Couldn't agree more. So many of the times I do not have my coffee early in the morning while initially posting and then later in the afternoon when I re-read threads I realize what a hot mess I wrote earlier but by then it is already too late! Rawr.

If there was a like button I would use it here!

Wish we could have a like button - great way to saying you like a post without actually having to write - a 3 worded reply. We have a like button on our car forums - its nice.

Necro here to say I agree the edit time limit doesn't suit me either.

About the like button, its not built into the forum already so can only be added by coding it in which is a long messy job (I know cause Ive done it) ... if you make a mistake when coding you risk messing up the forum skin or layout and it is a headache to be honest.
(changing time limit on editing is about three mouse clicks and entering a number into a box)

This made me smile because the first few times on the forum, I was searching for the "like" button to click then realising this isn't Facebook lol
