I had ringworm last year. Had both bengals tested and they came back negative. Everytime ringworm seems to be going it reappeared again. Found out that it was because I was using a bath sponge and re-infecting myself every day! Cream from Dr's is expensive, the chemist recommended a cream over the counter and it went after about 2 weeks from stopping using the bath sponge. Mine looked like yours.

That has changed dramatically!sorry dear but I think you have ringworm!i had it a few years ago and the doctor told me it was from walking barefoot at the pool! Good news is it clears up fairly easy!

It looked like ringworm from the first pictures and now it's ringworm from the second pictures.

I got one right below my knee and it itched like mad.
Since i work in a micro lab, I scrubbed it with the uber antimicrobal(it has a anti fungal properties in it) hand soap twice a day and put antifungal cream on it. I also put a band aid over it during the first two weeks so I wouldn't contaminate my clothes and my apartment.

Twice a day clean it with a antimicrobal soap (The antibacterial is good to prevent staph infection). Then put the cream on it along with a bandaid on it.

Do this for two weeks and after you can ditch the band aid.

A mushroom walked into a bar the the bartender said "HEY! We don't serve your type here!" and the mushroom replied, "Aw man, but I'm a fungi....."

The "ring worm" saga continues. Spoke to Brett's dermatologist friend. We sent her the pictures that I posted on here and she called me in an anti fungal prescription cream that needs to be applied 2x/day. She said there's no telling for certain what it is unless she sees it in person (pretty sure they just want the $100 appointment fee) but that it does look like ring worm to her.

She said it could also be dermatitis, and if the medication does not start making a visible difference within a few days to call her and she'll switch the meds.

The instructions on the cream say not to cover it with anything but that's kind of impossible because I have to wear clothing, haha. My only other concern is that now it also itches from rubbing up against the shirts I wear so I would rather cover it with a band aid as well because I think if anything it will become more irritated from rubbing on my shirt. =\ thinking about defying those instructions for my own comfort. Lol. Not sure if it will make a monumental difference in the effectiveness of the meds...

We shall see!

If it's ringworm, Be careful with the kitties because they can catch it from you, likewise you can catch it from them!
When more than one person in the family has it, it's so much harder to make it disappear for good, because of all the things it can come into contact with. So keep up the good work!
Also- I've read a couple times that Lysol kills ringworm spores, so if you get worried about it I'd use Lysol just in case you begin to worry about spreading.
