I am very Happy as we got our Bengal boy Skylar a playmate. Arty is a male 11 month old Seal point Siamese boy that we picked up from our local Animal Shelter. He was picked up and turned in as a stray. Very unusual according to the shelter staff.

It was by Luck that we found him as we were going to buy a Siamese from a private person when my mother-in-law suggested we check our local animal shelter first. In bad economic times she said we might find a pure Siamese and she was right. Arty (AKA his shelter name Washington) had just been turned in but we would have to wait 2 weeks to get him.

We waited the 2 weeks and Arty was given to us this past Friday. The cutest sweetest boy you could imagine. We Love Skylar but he is not a lap cat. After a couple of day adjustment period Arty and Skylar are both Lover Boys.

How dare you tell us that you got a new kitty and not add photos

Glad to hear that you've found a stunning addition to your home and esp when he came from a shelter. He must be the luckiest kitty

I too demand photos of both kitties. It is a mandatory requirement, afterall.

Glad to hear they are both getting on well. And good on you for giving a cat a loving home.

I replied to this post on Friday and I don't see my response.

Here goes again.

I don't do many pictures because in 2008 we lost all of our photos, films and pictures in a massive flood. All of the storm sewers backed-up flooding most peoples basements. The loss of wedding and all special moment stuff has really turned me off on pictures ect..

Our new Boy Arty is a beautiful wonderful kitten that is a lap cat. Skylar is not a lap cat but he is friendly in his own way.
