The wheel being 'crook' is cos its on the WRONG SIDE! As long as the wheel arches are extended, and the tyres have about 1" clearance to avoid any rubbing then you are OK - For now! The emissions are measured anually at the MOT inspection, although it would probably be tested on an import with that many modifications as part of the registration process. Then again, it might simply be presumed to be the same for that make / model as the UK sold ones are! You just never know with UK laws......

We did seize a car (2 year old VW Golf GTi) a while ago on my beat cos the stretch n poke elements had been done, but the arches weren't extended so the wheels rubbed the arch on full lock! And the tyres were a size too small for the rims, so the stretch left them barely seated in the beading! A catastrophe just waiting to happen! The idiot actually told us he "never used full lock, so it was OK"!?!?!? £300 fine, 6 points and a kick up the ar5e from his angry Dad!
