For all of you who know that I have BB and I am wanting another Bengal! I am going to have to wait awhile and I was looking for some input on what age will it become hard to bring in a new kitten BB is 6 months now and was planning on waiting until she is a year! Is that to long, will she have a harder time adjusting to a kitten when she is a year old compared to 6 months old?

It's going to be hard to introduce two cats to each other anyway. I think, since she's already six months old, any time after this is going to be about the same level of difficulty. Don't rush into getting a new cat just because you want to introduce it to her younger. She's already growing into an adult and already has had plenty of time to decide her home is "hers." You generally seem to be quite desperate to add a new cat to your life, but it is worth it to find a decent breeder who does all the things RIGHT instead of finding someone who happens to have kittens NOW.

The reason why I was asking is because its probably going to be close to 10 months before we get another one! I dont really know what to expect with this because I have never had to introduce cats before! I was looking for a little guidance and some input on the age! I dont know if I should get another male or female an adult or kitten? There is a lot I dont know and I am not looking to get a bargain on a Bengal that is here now or I would have already got a kitten! I am going to get one from the breeder of BB or if not her from another cattery Amantra Bengals! I was looking for a little guidance , truth is I am getting another Bengal its just a matter of when! I know I have to wait until we get into our new house but beyond that I am not sure, I was looki ng for some experienced guidance and to see what the difference would be between now and then and what I am looking at facing in the near or distant future! Either way I am not jumping into enything tomorrow or until at least 60 days if everything goes through with the house and possibly after christmas! I guess what I am saying is I am scared to death BB will hate a kitten and life will not be the same!! CONFUSED

Sorry everyone my husband posted this so you all will tell me that its going to be the same now as it will a year from now!!!! So I will not get a kitten that is being offered to me for 150 dollars from my breeder! He is left from a litter and is now 17 weeks old so she was going to sell him to me cheap! He is pretty but I am not going to give in even though I brought up the age thing to mu husband he insisted it wouldnt make a difference from six months to a year! Sorry!
