ROSA IS MISSING

My lovely Bengal, Rosa, went missing on Monday morning (9th July) and it's now Wednesday evening. I am so worried and can't sleep at night, as I'm sure you can all understand.
I have put posters up all around my area and notified Petlog and the vet.
Any other advice welcome.
Also, if anyone in Edinburgh thinks they have seen her or if anyone sees a Bengal for sale who looks like my Rosa, please let me know.

Well, I came home tonight and there she was!! I have never felt such a rush of happiness!
Thanks for your concerns and that story about Boy who returned after 16 months! I must admit, I was finding it hard to think positively and was just imagining the worst.
I'm very reluctant to let her out again though. I think I will put her back on the leash. It's very difficult because, now she has a taste for the outdoors, I feel bad for not letting her roam free. However, I don't think I could go through that again and risk something happening to her.
She munched her way through a full raw chicken breast, some moist and some dry food when she got back and is now curled up on my lap asleep. It's nice to see that she missed me (almost) as much as I missed her :lol:

Oh, my heart jumped with joy when I saw you posted, I was really hoping Rosa came back and I'm really happy to read she's home.

Thanks Suki. Yes, I was just reading about that earlier. It's a tricky one because there is a chance that (a) the collar will come off and (b) the cat will hang itself on the collar. So, although I'd love some kind of tracking device, I'm not sure I trust this 100%. I wish her microchip had an inbuilt tracking device included!
I think I will keep her on the leash for now and make sure to walk her every day. When I'm in the garden, she hangs around with me (never runs off) so she can have some freedom then

To be honest I'd personally be extremly stressed letting my cat out with a collar. But that's just me, and I'm super anxious so most people probably can't relate

I am so happy to hear your Rosa came home safe and sound !!! I love happy endings , I dont blame you for not wanting to let her out anymore I would be scared to death if it was my cat , I freak out if I cant find her in the house ,

I hope you can find a way of letting her out without being to terribly nervous!!! Glad she is home though!
