Hi

Is anyone going to the show next month? .

Be great to see anyone from here on the day. Good luck to everyone entering the show. And I very much look forward to meeting other show cats and their parents.

Yvette

I'd love to show Cassius, but he's not allowed as an F3... I'm sure Georgie will do you proud!

Shebajet - it is against the rules of showing (with GCCF, not sure about TICA) to announce/let people know that you will be taking a certain cat to a show.... just in case he wins people can claim that it was some form of favouritism etc.... Might see if you can edit your post or get Meemonkey to delete it.

Ember's Mom - You can enter Cassius as a household pet in the pedigree pet section of any show that has that category.

I can't go but have a good time, i wish you loads of luck if you are showing

I have made the same mistake so it seems it's a newbie mistake to make :) I have taken my Toby as a pedigree pet (not eligible for full show as he is 3rd generation tonk). I first took him when he was 1 year old and he didn't really warm to showing after a couple of times so i didn't go again. He is so friendly normally! I am keeping a girl from my current litter so i may see you at a future show :D

When and exactly where is it? I am not interested in showing I doubt my two are anywhere near show standard, but I wouldnt mind coming along and meeting people from this club if there is away of meeting up and it would be good to put faces to names see how it all works etc.

Do you folks meet up?

This is the address

Cricklade Leisure Centre, Stones Lane, Cricklade, Swindon, Wiltshire. SN6 6JW

Personally a better show for a visitor would be the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain Show which is a TICA show not GCCF. You get to watch all the judging, hear the judges comments, see all the cats on show, and easier to chat with people I find. They are more fun and interactive.

That one is
6/7 Oct 2012
North Solihull Sports Centre,
Conway Road, Chelmsley Wood
Solihull,
West Midlands B37 5LA

I show with both GCCF & TICA :)
