Hmm, hubby asked me a couple of questions yesterday and I still haven't decided on the answers - maybe you could help?

1. If I had to get rid of one of the cats which one would it be???

2. Hubby said - "If I developed cat allergies, what would you do?"

3. When (???) we win the lottery and can afford to go on holiday what would you do with the cats?

So, the best I can come up with is ....

1. NONE of them. They are all far too precious to even think about not having any one of them.

2. Bye hubby !!! (or he could live in one of those sterile bubble's)

3. I'd stay with the cats most of the time, but if on holiday, I would pay for someone who is dedicated to cats to stay with them as I wouldn't want to leave them in a cattery.

He's been reading over my shoulder and asked if I would really prefer cats to him. No contest my dear - cats don't moan, they let me go to sleep, they don't snore (very loudly), they never let me oversleep, they can settle on my chest without thinking of "naughty" things, you can talk to cats about shopping or friends and they don't sigh, cats will never tell you that your hair is a mess, you can watch a rom-com without muttering in the background and the cats do not wait until you are atching your favourite program before starting a conversation. As I said, no contest!

Haha I'm terrible, I'd get rid of my fiance before my cat(and he knows it lol). As for allergies my fiance has an allergy to my cat and has to take allergy tablets and basically man up and live with it! (Though I do help a bit by having a daily cleaning and cat grooming regime to help the allergen levels to stay as low as possible)

Oh that is too funny!!! My man does have allergies and as you can see I not only got to bring home one furball, but I put on my pouty face and convinced him that "Ally" had to have a buddy....max really was for Ally.....really. LOL. I quoted a lot of stuff I read on here from you guys, so I really have you all to thank. The real kicker is I got to use the money I had saved for his birthday to help pay for Max. I'm a little spoiled. The pouty face works every time!

Well I must be lucky that my boyfriend is a "crazy cat person" as well!

But yeah, if he were to ever develop allergies... Well, he would have to come up with something. My cats are going nowhere.

I'm a man my turn ladies! First I'm allergic to cats the story is about my girlfriend of 12 years. We were living together and she knew a cat was out of the question. I hated cats and was allergic. So one Christmas I got her a tabby kitten. I wrapped it in a box put a bow on and put it under the tree. Over the counter allergy medicine worked well, not a big deal I "man'd up". Anyways the thing started to grow on me. Then she moves out and took the cat something about not being married bla bla yada yada. She gets her own place and we still date so I got my cake and ate it too. One thing missing was the little fur ball. We came across an opportunity to get a Bengal and I gave her money to buy it. But who's cat was it? We both wanted it. We decided I'll keep it till the end of the week and then make a decision. The rest of the day she spends with me buying everything I needed.
The next day she had dinner with her parents I know her mom was the influence on the following days events. So the next day she comes over we play with the Kitty I tell her I set up a fort and took off work and was sleeping with the Kitty she's very impressed with everything. But right before she leaves she pulls out a stack of cash and says she's taking the cat, not quite the week we discussed. I'm shocked I don't say a word! I don't even move a muscle. She grabs the cat and its things. As she's walking out she asked if I'd still talk to her. I said I would but didn't.

There's a happy ending here folks read on. Well I went on a all out hunt for another Bengal and a month later was blessed with my boy Pouncey. I text her that I had got a male Bengal and she comes over to see it. I also get a chance to go to her place and see my old Bengal. The Bengal she got has now got some behavioral issues with biting people and terrorizing her tabby now her tabby won't sit on her lap and neither will the Bengal. She informs me if I would have talked to her she would have given me the cat back.
Well Pouncey has better markings and a better color. His behavior is purrrfect. He follows me around like a puppy and does tricks and loves to be held and lay on my lap. I could go on and on. Fast forward a year later we don't talk anymore but I send her a email checking up on her. Still has problems with the cats it never got better. In the end it worked out for me and I tell people who ask what happened to us? "that I traded her in for a cat". I do miss her very much and if she called me I'd still take the cat back
