Male Bengal Cross 1 1/2 years - needs a new home.

Our cat was in the vets last August and next to him was a beautiful male Bengal x about 1 year old. He'd been badly treated and had come in with a broken leg and would then need to be re-homed. We loved him and took him home and cared for him until his leg was fully healed however, as soon as he became well enough to get out and about he started to dominate and fight with our own cats. Our mother in law decided to look after him but recently she's had a few complaints from neighbours as he goes in through their cat flaps and has started to fight with other cats. My mother in law can no longer have him as she does not want to fall out with her neighbours. Its quite a residential area and I think he would be better suited to a farm or somewhere with open space so he can wander as he pleases. He's about 1 and a half and has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped. He's very affectionate on his terms and chats all of the time but i would not trust him with children as he can be quite feisty. He's definately got a sorry story to tell from before we had him. If anyone knows of a suitable home for him would you please get in touch? Or any other suggestions....

He's beautiful! I used this service to find our 7 yr old kitty. she may be able to point you in the right direction :-)

I am not 100% sure but the way the OP writes, i believe they are based in the UK.

This site has a lot of followers from all over the world so it is useful to give your whereabouts when posting. You can also edit your personal info so that it displays your location.

I have had a look at the rescue site you recommend and it does state that they do not do out of state adoption so it probable they will not rescue from out of state as well.

The FB seems to get requests from UK allot. she probably can't help you adopt it out, but may help you find the right organization there who can.

There is no longer a bengal rescue in the UK.

We have other rescue centers but they are not used to bengals and generally not the best place for them sometimes.

Individuals may see it and be able to help out but the FB rescue you are advising cannot know of a UK bengal rescue as there isn't one.

Just a thought, is he neutered?
