Hi, can someone explain what the difference is between the outbox and the sent box in the message area of the site please? Someone contacted me via pm and I replied. I had a message saying the message had been sent but then saw it was sat in the outbox not in the sent box. Will my message have actually been sent to the person who contacted me or is there something I am missing? Can't really understand why there is a sent box and an outbox???

Hi,

Messages stay in the outbox until they've been picked up (read) by the recipient. They will then appear in the sentbox so you will know that the message has been received and read.
