i HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD NEUTERED MALE. When i first bought him from a breeder, I noticed his dry nose, but forgot to mention this to the vet when he had his vet check>
Sunsequently, asked the vet, and he said that this is a Benagl Nose issue. Gave me Neotopic-H lotion to put on, but this is licked off straight away. Have tried vaseline, Vit E cream, but everything is licked off.

He is extremely active, very healthy. Has wet and dry food, lots of water. He spend most days outside, inside at night.

The other day, I noticed blodd coming out from inside his nose.

The nose isnt peeling, just dry & cracked.

Please can anyone help. There isnt much in the way of animal specialsists in NZ

If the bleeding continues and/or your kitty loses appetite and weight, the eyes start to run- see the vet.

My male cat had sneezing fits 1 or more times a day fora month -sometimes a little blood came out, and then it all stopped and he has had no problems since.
