Harness, Which is the Best??

Hi, I got two cat collars/harness at petathome but I found them not very safe, and the locking system isn't very firm.

I saw these one at some other thread:

And was wondering if you could advise me where I could buy some good firm and safe harness for cats.

I bought the jacket style for my kittens. It was pretty easy to put them on, and it fit snugly. One of them tolerated it when I put it on (but certainly wasn't happy about it) the other one didn't. In fact she started screaming at the top of her lungs, and thew herself violently against walls and objects in a desperate attempt to get it off. It was scary. I won't do that again. She does much better with the strap kind.

I had one like the one in your picture, not sure where i got it from but my cats hated it. One of them managed to get out of it by going backwards and the other hated it so much they went crazy trying to bite it off. They really are not that secure and are certainly very uncomfortable when tight enough not to escape.

Having used them all i would much prefer the sturdy harness over the tight uncomfortable collar style harness. Safety and comfort is a priority. I think the jackets actually enhance their coats nicely. Toby even has a fleecy jumper to go under his for the winter as he doesn't have much fat on him to keep him warm unlike Max :lol:

The jacket harnesses can fit from young adult right through to older. My kitten's ones still have a lot more growing room in them and i have had them since the were 6 moonths old. They are now 11 months and they fit fine with more growing room left. I'm pretty sure you won't have to get a new jacket as they get older, it would still fit.

Not sure really where to point you to get the harness that you like. Is it just you don't like the jackets? If it's the heat in Brazil that puts you off, i know Mynwood jackets have been sent to Australia so they are ok over there with them.
