Hi everyone!

We brought our 2 kittens home on Sunday.... Chilli is a silver spotted boy and Pepper is his brown spotted brother. They seem to be settling in OK - eating, drinking and playing well, although Pepper is very shy and I haven't managed to have a cuddle yet. He is getting used to us - no longer runs out of the way when anyone goes near him - but I think he will take a while to settle down. Chilli, however, is all over me like a rash, bless him. A complete little silver fluffball.

They are already 16 weeks old - seems no-one wanted them as they were too old. Hence they were much more affordable and I could have both of them!

Pics are not good but hey, they don't hold still for long!

Congratulations on your new babies. You will find that everything else in your life will be put to one side and your cats will be your main focus.

Enjoy them!

Thank you for the warm welcome! My boys come from a well-respected breeder and I think they are gorgeous, although I guess they are not breeding or showing material!

When I got my three, none of them initially came for cuddles even though they were quite happy and relaxed. I thought it might be because they had each other and for a while I felt quite excluded. Then when they were about 5-6 months old, over a period of about a week, one by one they climbed on my knee for cuddles and I now have three lap cats who fight for space on my knee! So, give Pepper time - they can change behaviour quite dramatically almost overnight.

Hi and welcome, PaddyPaws!
My boys, like yours, were a bit older when I got them, and not show quality, but I don't tell them that! Your boys are gorgeous, and I love their names! My Cairo was the shyer one of our two, but now he's becoming more sooky than Jakarta - Cairo is a mummy's boy though, Jack will go to anyone.
Enjoy the forum!

Yicks! I thought you had stolen my cat for a minute, though mine are a lot bigger than that now....but way back when....

If yours are as much fun as my 2 have been then you will have just the best time!

What a coincedence! I brought my 2 home on Sunday as well and my little girl is named Pepper!

I don't know if it's a trick of the camera or not but your fellas look pretty big for their age!
