Our 2 Bengals are a year old this week...... I thought they might calm down a bit once they got to 1, but can't see that happening anytime soon

Hestia's latest trick is to jump up and stand on top of the doors!!!! Quite what she thinks she is going to find up there I don't know, only problem is, once she gets up there, she can't get down again

Are they getting a birthday treat?

Seems I made a mistake :unsure: Apparently it was this time last month that was their birthday

They regularly get treats anyway, Prawns are their favourite

PRAWNS.....We gave ours a king prawn each yesterday and they snubbed it in favor of some wafer thin chicken!

Also only Tally likes the shop bought cat treats (whiskers etc).....Evvie just won't entertain them at all! :unsure:


It seems they always prefer what we're eating at the time regardless of what it is.

Evvie obviously has expensive tastes

Ours will eat nearly anything, including crisps!!!

Crisps.. ...they really will eat anything on offer!

What do yours go mad for though.....Whats the treat of all treats for them?

Ours love tuna.....It keeps them busy for ages just trying to get every little bit that gets stuck between their teeth.

All you can hear is little bengal jaws munching away....nothing can distract them from filling their bellys especially now that Evvie is expecting.

In fact the only words to describe her appetite at the moment is <span style='font-size:11pt;line-height:100%'>ferociously savage</span>

Evvie is expecting? Congratulations..... When's the happy day? I can't wait to see them mini Bengals

Tuna is *normal* for ours, as they have a tin nearly every day B) So they don't go mad for that, either Prawns or Chicken slices sends them nuts

It's been a very hectic year for us and we've achieved so much in a short space of time.....and just to top it all Evvie gaining Grand Champion status at the uk's first ever Tica show making her one of the first UK awarded bengals. Chrisjays Fernando being the other bengal awarded Grand Alter, (BTW If you ever get the chance to see him at a show you won't be disapointed he's absolutley stunning)......Well that experience was just mind-blowing as you can imagine and it brought a great end to an exhausting year!

Now we're gonna try and have a bit of time to ourselves before the madness begins.....It's crazy enough with two girls causing mayhem, So god only knows what mischeif a full litter will bring!

Anyways Evvies looking a bit plump at the moment and the little baby pards will be here sometime early june if all goes well and another milestone in our quest will have been reached.....Then all the showing starts all-over again! :blink:

We're already looking for a quality stud to import either from europe or the u.s, We did talk a while back about trying to get a Millwood stud sent over (Lots and lots of $$$$$) .....But worth it in the end I think to have our very own Millwood.....without any contracts on him with any luck!


We'll keep you both posted on Evvies babies and we'll email a couple of newborn pics to you and Siobhan.....We don't feel its right to post pics on the forum until they're atleast a few weeks old (Evvie needs to keep her dignity intact )

p.s Also Tally is screaming the house down now.....so in another 4 weeks she'll be off to learn about the many wonders of the magic stick with her new manfriend (it's a fifty cent thing ) We've still not chosen who the lucky boy will be yet!.....so in about 4 months time we'll be infested with many bengals :wacko:

Our Bengals came from Chrisjay, we saw Fernando (Thomas) when we was there one time, only through a window mind, as she got him out of his run to show us, he looked HUGE, he literally filled both of her arms, he was a fine specimen indeed!
