Hi
Just looking for some advice really as me and hubby are of to France for 10 days over the christmas period and will be leaving Izzy at home with her cat sitter but we are unsure what to do about the heating in the house, whether to leave it on or turn it off. I've no idea what temperatures a cat will be comfortable with and I'd hate to leave her feeling cold. She is 9 years old and does go outside but like all other cats she does find all the sunny spots in the house during the day to nestle down and soak up the warmth.
The first time we went away in June after getting her she went to the cattery and she hated it with a vengeance and it took her ages to settle once we were home. So for September's holiday I found a lovely lady who was a cat sitter and it worked perfectly as Izzy still had most of the house to roam around but it wasn't that cold in September.
I am considering leaving just one radiator on very low in the kitchen as thats where she sleeps most of the time in her basket but if anyone has any other good advice my ears are open.
Cheers
Kaz
